    1Berkshire is an independent not-for-profit corporation charged with strengthening and growing the Berkshire economy using an innovative collaborative approach among the region’s business, tourism, economic, and creative development efforts.

    The work of 1Berkshire is retaining and attracting jobs, tourism and creativity for the benefit of everyone in the Berkshires.

    1Berkshire was formed in the summer of 2010 when the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce, the Berkshire Visitors Bureau, and the Berkshire Creative Economy Council agreed to blend their operations. The three partner organizations retain their individual missions and services while operating under the umbrella of 1Berkshire.
