      he fourth annual all-inclusive fashion show for Unify Against Bullying was held at The Log Cabin Tuesday with more than 700 attending the four-hour event. A social hour prior to the fashion show featured a silent auction, food stations, an open-air photo booth, and an after show meet and greet. Student models and performers from across Massachusetts and Connecticut came together to raise awareness with the challenges associated with bullying. The event featured a live musical performance of "Stop the Violence" by Holyoke High School graduate Kenny Roche.

      SPRINGFIELD - The third annual Suit Up Springfield celebrity bartender fundraiser was held at Nadim's Mediterranean Restaurant & Grill in Springfield on Thursday.

      The non-profit organization provides professional attire and mentorship to the young men of Greater Springfield. Founder Justin Roberts, who is also a digital media strategist with MassLive Media, was on hand to greet the celebrity bartenders and visitors.

      The Springfield Regional Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the greater Chicopee, Holyoke, Westfield and Quaboag chambers combined their talent and members to come together for the 20th annual Table Top Expo and Business Networking event at the Castle of Knights on Tuesday. The exhibitors were allowed to display their products and literature on an eight-foot table. Businesses used the event as an opportunity to exchange contact information and chat about their products and services during the 3 1/2 hour timetable.

      A 95-year legacy was celebrated with more than 200 people in attendance for the United Way of Pioneer Valley's 'Legacy 95' anniversary gala at the Barney Carriage House at Forest Park recently. The celebration featured a brief Board of Directors meeting prior to the 2 1/2-hour formal social which was staged under a large white tent. For the past 95-years, the Pioneer Valley has perfected a system that works year-round to assist the community. The organization provides a bond between local businesses, government and nonprofit organizations.

The meeting carried the theme for success, happiness and humor, with Keynote Speaker Dr. Steve Sobel, of Longmeadow. Guest speakers included Art Jasper, Gillian Palmer and Beth Ward. The business breakfast provides community and business leaders an opportunity to network and provide educational topics for local and regional businesses.
