      Greenfield Community College partners with VT education organization to offer technology classes

      Greenfield Community College and Upright Education have partnered together to provide career enhancement programs in technology. According to a statement shared with 22News by Greenfield Community College, the program strives to give learners a unique chance to participate in boot camps that help them quickly learn skills in technology. The program will offer software development, User Interface (UI), and User Experience (UX) Design. Students enrolled in the program will be able to attend the programs virtually and can complete them in as few as 10 weeks.

      STCC partners with AMR to offer EMT training

      In partnership with American Medical Response Inc. (AMR), Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) will offer a free EMT training course starting Tuesday. “The workforce right now is hurting for EMTs and paramedics so it benefits AMR not only to sponsor students to become EMTs but then in return, they work for us when they become EMTs to help us with that workforce shortage,” said Emily Chandler, manager of the EMS program.
