    Mount Holyoke College Art Museum receives donation

    Mount Holyoke College Art Museum was recently given 17 important works from the Arthur M. Sackler Foundation for use in their curriculum. These works from Asia and the Near East, from the second or third millennium B.C. to the early 17th century. Works that stand out are ceramic camels from the Tang dynasty, a painted wood sculpture of the Bodhisattva Guanyin from China, a bronze Buddha from Thailand, and clay vessels from Iran.
