The EDC Continues Homefield Advantage Cluster Initiatives

This week, the EDC continued its new Homefield Advantage cluster initiative by meeting with representatives of the region’s IT/Software and Medical Device clusters. We wish to thank Todd Cieplinski from Universal Mind in Westfield and Steve Richter from Microtest in Agawam for organizing and hosting the sessions with us. Companies in both of these clusters have weathered the recent economic downturn and are returning to growth and profitability. Both meetings produced concrete ideas for initiatives that the EDC can undertake with each cluster. For more detail, contact Mike Graney at 413-755-1300 or m.graney@westernmassedc.com. Next month, Ann Burke from the EDC and Mike Vedovelli from the Massachusetts Office of Business Development will meet with the Precision Machining cluster.
