DevelopSpringfield selects Kevin Sweeney as its new interim executive director

As the interim director, Sweeney will also be responsible for implementing the operating plan for DevelopSpringfield and development of a broader, long-term strategy for the organization, according to a prepared release. DevelopSpringfield was formed as a nonprofit in 2008 to pursue development projects in Springfield and to aid private development.
