    Bradley International Airport sees 16 months of ridership increases

    Allan Blair, president of the Economic Development Council of Western Massachusetts, believes the creation of the Connecticut Airport Authority is a positive step for the entire region served by Bradley.  “(There will be flexibility) in being able to respond to opportunities and plan for future growth,” Blair said. “I expect it will result in more aggressive route development and more aggressive economic development around the airport. When that happens, with strong support of the government, I think that bodes well for the airport.”
