he Massachusetts Office of International Trade and Investment (“MOITI”) hosted 40 Consuls General, Trade Attaches and Trade and Investment executives from 19 countries on a three-day tour of Massachusetts last week. Peter Pan Bus Lines provided the Motor Coach for the tour and sponsored the western Mass stop, a reception at the Basketball Hall of Fame. The EDC has working relationships with many of the international representatives and hosted the event along with MOITI and Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno. Mayor Sarno, EDC President Allan Blair , Liberty Mutual Regional Manager Susan Renee Johnson and Paul Lambert from the Hall of Fame welcomed the group to the reception, which was attended by numerous EDC Board members. One of the services that the EDC offers under our Homefield Advantage program is connections for western Mass companies to international business officials for export, trade, investment or B2B opportunities.
