1. City's development director goes regional

    Teri A. Anderson, the city's first-ever economic development coordinator, is leaving for a new job with a regional economic development agency after more than a decade of spearheading projects from City Hall. Feb. 1, Anderson will take the newly created position of business development director at Common Capital, an agency formerly known as the Western Massachusetts Enterprise Fund.
