Palmer, Amherst, Montague among communities advocating restoration of passenger rail service along New England Central rail line

Palmer, Amherst and Montague, along with five communities in Connecticut and the town of Brattleboro, Vt. are expected to sign a memorandum of agreement on Friday to pledge their support to pursue funding to restore passenger rail service and enhance freight rail service along the New England Central Rail Corridor line.
