OUTLOOK 2011 SPEAKERS CONGRESSMAN RICHARD NEAL AND GOVERNOR DEVAL PATRICK

The Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield has announced that their annual OUTLOOK 2011 program will take place at Chez Josef inAgawam on Friday, February 11, 2011. The social hour begins at 11:00AM with the program beginning promptly at 11:45 and ending at 1:30PM. Given the changes inWashington, and the re-election of Governor Patrick here in our state, the Chamber is pleased to announce that Congressman Richard Neal has agreed to provide the federal outlook and Governor Deval Patrick will provide the state outlook. Congressman Neal is a senior member of theHouse Ways and Means Committee and a legislator recognized for his ability to work across the aisle with his Republican colleagues. As such you can expect to hear his unique insights on issues such as health care, federal tax reform, job creation and Social Security. The Governor has recently submitted his budget for the upcoming year and will outline what that budget means for us in the region and the state as a whole. Mary Ellen Scott, a member of the EDC and the Chamber, president and owner of United Personnel Services, will present the Chamber’s Legislative agenda for the year ahead. This is the area’s largest and premier legislative event and therefore you should reserve your tickets now. Price is $50 for members and $70 for non members.
