So we’re pleased by the news that work could begin as soon as this summer on a $72.8 million upgrade of train tracks from Springfield to the Vermont state line – part of a broader plan to improve rail service form New Haven, Conn., on Amtrak’s busy Northeast corridor all the way up to Montreal.
