Holyoke could be getting a Big Y supermarket near the Holyoke Mall at Ingleside

The $12 million project near the Holyoke Mall at Ingleside would occupy the former Atlas Copco compressor factory and include other retail stores, officials said. The supermarket would occupy half the site, or 50,000 square feet, and produce up to 175 jobs. A quarter of the jobs would be full time, said Francesca Maltese, development manager for O’ Connell Development Group here, which owns the site.
