The state’s unemployment rate remains below the 8.9 percent national average and is lower than the 8.8 percent unemployment rate recorded in February 2010, according to the state. The state added 15,400 jobs in education and health care; leisure and hospitality; professional scientific and business services; other services, trade, transportation and utilities and financial activities.
