Bradley is also viewed as our airport in Western New England,” Alan Blair, president and CEO of the Economic Development Commission of Western Massachusetts. “We regard Bradley as our portal to the rest of the world.” Blair said more autonomy would allow the airport to focus on route development which is a key to economic development. Blair said the airport currently has no route development specialist which hurts when there are companies that want to have routes to Bradley.
