1. EDC IS SUPPORTING GLOBAL TRADE SUMMIT AT BRANDEIS

    1. Following the successful European Business Symposium that the EDC co-hosted with AIM last year, we were approached by the organizers of Global Trade Summit 2011 to encourage western Mass companies to participate. The Summit is an outgrowth of the 2010 “An International Strategy for Massachusetts”report by the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative -- http://www.masstech.org/agencyoverview/mtc_reports/international_for_press.pdf

      The intent is to develop strategies to keep Massachusetts and its companies globally competitive in the 21st Century. The EDC was pleased to be a resource for the report and to assist companies in our region that are interested in global markets.
