UMass chancellor Robert Holub warns of deep budget cuts in FY12; all Massachusetts public colleges face similar cuts

In a letter to students and others on campus, Chancellor Robert C. Holub said he expects a cut of $18 million for the fiscal year that starts July 1, 2011. That’s about 8 percent less than the $215 million the campus has received in the current fiscal year.
