Technology park 'hidden gem'

1. Tenants at the Technology Park account for about 900 jobs, according to an economic impact study released this week by the STCC Assistance Corp., which oversees the park, and the Appleton Corp., which serves as the on-site management company. The study, completed by the Center for Economic Development at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, also said that the park tenants have an estimated payroll of $37 million, and $1.4 million is spent in the local economy to buy goods and services.
