1. $85 million in National Science Foundation awards issued to 178 universities, colleges in Massachusetts

    The NSF funds research and education across in science and engineering by providing grants and cooperative agreements to more than 2,000 colleges, universities, K-12 school systems, businesses, informal science organizations and other research organizations throughout the nation. More than $218 million in National Science Foundation grants have been awarded to Massachusetts organizations and schools since March.
