    Look closely at “Tower Squares” — a new 11-foot-tall, 1,000-pound sculpture by Chesterfield artist James Kitchen — and you’ll see countless reminders of the city’s history of innovation and industry hidden among its stacked cubes. There’s a 1940s Indian motorcycle seat, pipe wrenches invented by Solymon Merrick here in 1835, a clip-on ice skate patented by Everett Barney in the 1800s, a basketball hoop, ice tongs, hammers, gears that turn, doorbells that ring, a crank that moves a boat propeller and faucets that look as though they could flow, but don’t.
