    Holyoke Community College is hosting a grand-opening celebration and ribbon cutting for the 13,000-square-foot, $4.55 million Center for Life Sciences today, Oct. 24. U.S. Rep. Richard Neal and state Secretary of Education James Peyser will be the featured speakers at the event, which runs from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the Center for Life Sciences, located on the lower level of HCC’s Marieb Building.
