Resident Brian Hoose told City Councilors last week that the city needs to "get creative" and attract more visitors to Westfield. City Advancement Officer Joe Mitchell said the GoWestfield marketing campaign, launched at the start of the summer, aims to do just that. "The campaign is geared toward attracting businesses and people to the city," said Mitchell. "It has an 80 percent regional and 20 percent local focus." The campaign includes a website, brochures and more. Mitchell said the team that created and launched the campaign continues to meet and further GoWestfield.
