    Software company moving to Westfield from Northampton to get tax break from city

    The Westfield City Council Thursday voted to give Myers Information System a Special Tax Agreement of $39,380 over six years. The tech company owned by Longmeadow resident Crist Myers is moving to the city and will receive a tax break of 100-percent the first year and 75 percent the next five years. Myers Information Systems is a 36-year-old media software company that specializes in television and radio software programs.
