    Around 400 from UMass Amherst to help fix up 21 sites across Western Mass.

    About four hundred University of Massachusetts students, faculty and staff members will get up early Saturday morning to prune and mulch, dust and paint at 21 sites in places including Springfield, Holyoke, Amherst and Turners Falls during the 6th annual Mass Impact Day. Projects including farming at Gardening the Community in Springfield, cleaning up Lake Wallace in Belchertown; painting, power washing and other work at the Holyoke Children's Museum; cleaning out two garages at the Fisher House in Amherst, among the myriad of projects.
