    Lego will cut about 1,400 positions, about eight percent of the company's workforce.  The Danish toy company reported fiscal results for the first six months of the year, with revenue down 5 percent to $2.4 billion. Profits fell by 3 percent to $544 million.  'We are disappointed by the decline in revenue in our established markets, and we have taken steps to address this,' LEGO Group Chairman Jorgen Vig Knudstorp said in a statement.
