EDC Hires New Homefield Advantage Staff Member

1. The EDC is pleased to announce the hiring of Mike Wright to be our new Manager of Cluster Development. Mike will be part of our Homefield Advantage team in the Business Development Department. He will be working primarily with technology companies, specifically including the members of the Technology Enterprise Council of the Regional Technology Corporation. Mike comes to us from the University of Massachusetts, where he most recently held the position of Managing Director, Massachusetts Center for Renewable Energy Science and Technology. Mike has also held positions in the nanotechnology centers at UMass and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Mike has experience in economic development as well, so he will bring a well rounded set of skills to the EDC. We welcome Mike to our team. He will start on August 16.
