    Boston-area clean tech startup Greentown Labs to open Springfield office

    Greentown Labs, a Somerville-based incubator for clean technology start-ups, plans to open an office in Springfield to connect businesses in eastern and Western Massachusetts. The Springfield office will help hardware businesses in the Boston area connect with manufacturers and startups in the western part of the state. The goal is to ensure that before a company looks for an out-of-state supplier, it will first look at companies in Massachusetts.
