Gov. Charlie Baker signs $1B economic development bill

Gov. Charlie Baker on Wednesday signed into law a nearly $1 billion economic development bill, which includes a mix of funding for infrastructure, housing, workforce training, business development and other projects. "We're all about creating jobs, promoting vitality in communities, helping eliminate blight and creating a better quality of life for all residents of the commonwealth and businesses that operate here," said Secretary of Housing and Economic Development Jay Ash.
