    Northampton gun manufacturer Yankee Hill Machine will move to Easthampton | masslive.com

    The Easthampton Planning Board has approved the company's application to take over 412 Main St., former home of Argotec Stevens LLC, according to the Daily Hampshire Gazette.  Yankee Hill moved to its current building at 20 Ladd Ave. in the 1960s, the Gazette reports. The firm was founded in 1951 in Haydenville.  Yankee Hill co-owner Kevin Graham told the Gazette that the company had outgrown the old Florence mill building that was constructed in the 1860s. Sales have spiked 'tremendously' in recent years, he said.
