1. Western Mass Innovation & Entrepreneurship Tour

Western Mass Innovation & Entrepreneurship Tour

Western Mass is experiencing an Entrepreneurial Renaissance and I invite you to join me on April 10, 2015 to see first-hand highlights of this work in action! I believe you will be impressed and inspired.

The tour will leave Springfield by Peter Pan Bus for UMass Amherst to see how student teams and faculty are innovating and formulating new ventures, and the entrepreneurship programs that support them.  We will learn about new research initiatives in water technology and big data for healthcare and opportunities for growing tech- based business to partner with UMass. Our next stop will be Holyoke, to explore BRICK, a new collaborative workspace bringing together small businesses and individuals to focus on art, science, and engineering.  Arriving back in Springfield, our tour will stop at TechSpring, a state of the art Health Care Technology innovation and collision space designed to accelerate innovation in the healthcare industry by leveraging the resources of Baystate Health’s 11,500 employee health system.

The day will end with a special tour and refreshments at the brand new VVM Accelerator in Tower Square. We will learn more about the largest, most active community of startups and mentors in Western MA, their award winning programs and meet with graduating teams from the VVM Accelerator.

A special rate of $25 is offered for entrepreneurs and guests.  Please register by clicking on link below to reserve your spot.  Attendance is limited, so please sign up soon.  Partial tour options are also available.

Registration is required for both tours.
