    The country's second largest non-profit health system is set to expand in New England, with Michigan-based Trinity Health's announcement Dec. 17 that it has signed a definitive agreement for Hartford-based St. Francis Care to join its system. The agreement, which has been negotiated over eight months, and been approved by the Archdiocese of Hartford, which sponsors St. Francis Care, includes plans for the Sisters of Providence Health System and St. Francis Care to form a non-profit regional system.
