Under Construction: land cleared for Westfield State's $48 million science and technology classroom building
Workers have cleared land on the Westfield State University Campus for the construction of a new $48 -million science and technology classroom building. It will be the first new academic building on the university's campus in 40 years.
The university expects more site work to commence in the first week of September, spokeswoman Molly Watson said. The building is expected to be completed in 2016.
