    Holyoke Dean Technical High School to share grant for lab equipment, teacher development from biotech foundation

    Dean Technical High School is one of 10 schools that will share a $250,000 grant next year from the Massachusetts Biotechnology Education Foundation. The foundation will provide nearly $25,000 to the city's vocational school at 1045 Main St. for laboratory equipment, a press release said. Funding also will be provided for professional development for teachers, curriculum for biotech labs and helping students with "career exploration experiences," though it was unclear how much that funding will be.
