Industry leaders focus on the future of advance manufacturing in Massachusetts

They then transitioned into the first panel, during which Massachusetts Secretary of the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development Gregory P. Bialecki lead a discussion focused manufacturing officials' expectations for the future and their workforce demands. The response from three industry professionals on the panel was similar: the greatest need is to find employees with basic skills who are able to walk into a job with minimal training necessary to start, but the capability of being trained in more advanced skills over time.
