Pioneer Valley Transit Authority to hold public hearings on proposed service changes, including new bus routes and hours

The Pioneer Valley Transit Authority is holding a series of regional public hearings to solicit comments on proposed PVTA service
recommendations, including new crosstown routes, improved hours and more frequent bus runs, among other suggested changes. The first round of hearings on fixed-route service improvements got underway Monday at PVTA headquarters in Springfield. More city hearings are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday at the Brightwood and Forest Park branch libraries, respectively, and for Thursday, April 3, at the Mason Square Library.
