EDC and Regional Companies to Attend Medical Device Trade Show
From the EDC (Jun 7 2010) Medical Devices
-
The EDC will represent the region at the Medical Design and Manufacturing (MD&M) trade show in New York this week, as we have done for the last decade. EDC Senior VP Mike Graney will join business development colleagues in the Team New England pavilion. But this year we will add a new twist. The EDC subleased 25% of the space in the pavilion to provide a low-cost opportunity for western Mass companies to exhibit at the show. Hoppe Tool from Chicopee, Mitchell Machine from Springfield and Peerless Precision from Westfield will exhibit. In addition, Pittsfield Plastics and the Ludlow-based U.S. arm of BIT Analytical Instruments will exhibit in their booths in the pavilion, imparting a decidedly western Mass flavor to the surroundings. The EDC wishes to acknowledge the support of the Precision Manufacturing Regional Alliance Project and Western Mass Electric Co/Northeast Utilities in establishing this program. We are working with these same partners to extend this initiative to other shows, which we hope to announce soon. For more information or to discuss upcoming show ideas, please contact Mr. Graney at 413-755-1300 or m.graney@westernmassedc.com.
