    Business leaders tout sites in contest for UMass satellite campus in downtown Springfield | masslive

    In a competition for a key project to revive downtown Springfield, business leaders are jockeying for a contract to lease space to the University of Massachusetts for a satellite campus.  UMass is considering a three-year lease, with extension options, for space at four different downtown buildings: the Peter Pan Bus terminal , the 10-floor Harrison Place at 1391 Main St., the 17-story One Financial Plaza and the 28-floor Tower Square, owned by the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. UMass staff toured the sites last week.
