    Westfield State University dedicates new dormitory

    A $59 million, suite-style residence hall at Westfield State University was officially dedicated Thursday in a ceremony that heralded the facility as an achievement in determination, foresight and leadership. During the ceremony, WSU alumnus state Rep. Brian M. Ashe, D-Longmeadow, announced the future construction of a $48 million science and technology building on which they plan to break ground next year with a completion date scheduled for 2016.
