1. Precision Machining Showcase Scheduled

The EDC would like to bring a new event to your attention. This will be a great chance to meet the companies that drive our regional precision machining cluster and understand their capabilities.

On April 15, the Western MA Chapter of the National Tooling and Machining Association will have its first annual Showcase Meeting.

The meeting will feature displays by 20 member and associate member companies and will focus on learning about each other's capabilities. The goal is to create an environment where we can better collaborate in order to more effectively bid on opportunities presented to us all.

Currently, many of our members collaborate when bidding on RFQ's. This meeting is intended to expand on this base in order to create an environment where no RFQ goes without a member company bid.

Networking will be facilitated by chapter leadership and visible hands on samples of work performed will be on display.

Attendance is free to companies not displaying. Hors d’oeuvres will be plentiful.

FEATURED SPEAKER: Grady Cope - Vice Chair NTMA will talk about benefits offered by our national organization.

    Place: TD Bank in Springfield

    Time: 5-7 PM

    Date: Thursday, April 15, 2010

CALL ANGIE BEAVIS, Executive Director, (219-6111) to let her know you will be joining us for this important event.

Call Larry Maier at 562-2359 if you need more info about the event or the speaker.
