Springfield, Western Massachusetts Electric Co., announce partnership to improve energy efficiency in schools, municipal buildings

Christina Halfpenny, division director of energy efficiency for the state Department of Energy Resources praised WMECo and the city, saying this is the first time there has been a three-year commitment to pursue energy savings in WMECo’s service area, rather than annual goals.
