Massachusetts Lt. Gov. Timothy Murray to tour Westfield's Genevieve Swiss plant to highlight jobs and workforce training
Lt. Gov. Timothy P. Murray is scheduled to make stops in Western Massachusetts on Thursday to highlight manufacturing and technology initiatives in this region. His first stop is at 10:45 a.m. at Genevieve Swiss Industries, where he'll emphasize jobs and workforce training at the precision manufacturing company at 6 Old Stage Road. Nearly two years ago, officials of the high-precision tools and accessories firm near Barnes Regional Airport announced they were going to begin manufacturing parts for sophisticated metal turning and milling machines, rather than merely sell such components.
