EDC Convenes Healthcare Industry Meeting

On Thursday, January 14, 2010, the EDC met with the Healthcare industry cluster for the purpose of discussing the issues effecting the growth and viability of this cluster. This Healthcare industry meeting was the eighth in the series of cluster meetings convened by the EDC within the last three months, and was hosted by Mark Tolosky, President/CEO of Baystate Health. The group acknowledged that this industry, because it is physically tied to the geography it serves, is dependent on the economic vitality of the region for its future viability.
